Beth has worked for a variety of NGOs and Trade Unions on local, national and international issues and is currently a union organiser for the public sector union UNISON.

Beth sits on the council's Neighbourhoods scrutiny committee and is particularly interested in working on the issues surrounding homelessness, improving public realm within the city and arts and culture.

When she has spare time she spends it taking photos of people when they least expect it, concocting grand schemes in Northern Quarter coffee shops and reading anything to do with Berlin or Scandinavia.
