Councillors are working with the Aegis Trust to roll out clothing banks in city centre buildings.
Want to donate your old clothes to charity but don't know how? Now you can pop them in a clothing bank in your own block and have them collected on a regular basis.
City centre councillors are working with the Aegis Trust, a UK based charity working towards the prevention of genocide, to roll out clothing banks across the city centre in apartment blocks.
The clothing banks (pictured) are 1.8 m (H) x 1m (W) x 0.9m (D) and will normally be emptied on a monthly basis. You don't have to do anything once it is installed. The Aegis Trust will work with your building management to arrange collections.
If your building has capacity for a clothing bank please get in touch and we'll help you to put one in place.
